Let us introduce you Nextdoor Fest - the 3-rd salsa-festival in Minsk!
We’ve started this project at the beginning of December, 2009 to present our native city Minsk as an attractive and comfortable place for salsa-dancers from neighboring countries. At the first Nextdoor Fest we were glad to welcome our old friends, who had come to share their dance experience:
- Anton Shcherbak and Armen Grigoryan from Moscow;
- Dmitry Ganzevich, Marco Ivanyk and Anna Krasnoschok from Kiev;
- Valentina Zabolotnyaya from St. Petersburg.
Our festival has made a good impression both on Minsk citizens and on our guests, and as a result it has won the “Discovery of the 2009 year” award at the “Salsa Night Awards” ceremony in Moscow.
In 2010 we were honored with the visit of the most prestigious salsa-instructors both in Russia and in CIS countries, organizers of the best CIS salsa-festival “Third Front” in Rostov-on-Don - Marina and Gennady Vanyushiny.
And at the second “Nextdoor Fest” there were
- 2 days of workshops (salsa on2 by Marina Vanyushina, cha-cha-cha by Dmitry Ganzevich, salsa casino and rumba by Denis Tsybka, styling by Anna Krasnoschek and by Marco Ivanyk,and for the first time in Minsk – salsa music and dance history by Anton Shcherbak)
- 2 all-night salsa-parties in “Dankoff club” and a traditional after-party in the “Alcatraz” club.
Meeting new and old friends and non-stop dancing has made the cold and chilly winter days warm and bright.
In 2011 we heartly welcome all salsa-dancers to the III-rd “Nextdoor Fest” on 2-4 th of December .

- Salsa on 1 by Vitaliy Pastushenko and Natalie Karnauch (SoulDance School, Odessa, Ukraine)
- Experimental workshop by Anton Shcherbak (2mambo, Moscow, Russia) together wuth Pavel and Yulia Klimenko (Salsa de la Fresa, Kyiv, Ukraine)
- Styling by Anna Krasnoschok (“Mambo Dance Class”, Kyiv, Ukraine)
- Live salsa by “Dislocados” salsa-band from Kiev
- Friendly pre- and after-parties
