Long time ago in 2004 Anya crossed the threshold of her first dance class in Kiev dance school Salsa Club. Since that moment she became deeply involved in life of Kiev salsa community. One year later Anya and her partner Marko were invited to teach salsa in Salsa Club. Despite the fact that all salseros danced on 1 Marko and Anya started teaching NY style (or salsa on2). And the efforts paid off and now we can say that NY style dancers are full part of Kiev salsa community. Due to educational skills and enthusiasm NY style community grows fast, is very friendly and becomes more and more interesting for foreign dancers. Anya is a soul of NY style community in Kiev. Graceful, energetic and harmonical with music – that’s why partners love to dance with her all night long.
Anya is a regular participant of most festivals in CIS countries and takes one-to-one classes from the world-class instructors. In 2007 she started to teach lady styling for dancers on2.
In 2008 Anya and Marko founded their own school Mambo Dance Class. At the moment it is one of the leading NY style schools in Kiev and continues growing. Students of the school are “denizens” of Kiev salsa-parties and festivals. In 2011 Mambo Dance Class is co-organizer and partner of Kiev Spring Fest.
In spring 2011 Anya gets up one of the most amazing performances at Kiev Spring Fest – “The Arrest”. She and her students and colleagues make the audience burst into applause.
